Borrowers and groups, registered once
Borrowers and groups are registered once and tracked across every loan.
About Lendbox
Most lending businesses start the same way: a notebook, then an Excel file, then three Excel files that no longer agree with each other. Repayments get posted late. Interest is calculated by hand. A loan officer leaves and takes half the client history with them. By the time you are managing a few hundred borrowers, you are spending more time reconciling records than lending money.
Lendbox exists to fix that. It is a loan management system built from the ground up for microfinance institutions, SACCOs, and small lending businesses that need proper books, clear visibility, and fewer things falling through the cracks.
What Lendbox does
Borrowers and groups are registered once and tracked across every loan.
Repayments are allocated automatically in the right order, so penalties, fees, interest, and principal are never mixed up.
Every transaction posts to double-entry accounts, so your ledger is always current without a separate bookkeeping exercise.
Approval workflows let loan officers, branch managers, and directors each sign off at their level.
Also built in
Every branch works from the same chart of accounts with its own attribution, so consolidated reporting is a click rather than a month-end project.

Who we are
Lendbox is built and operated by a small team based in Zambia. We work close to the lenders we serve, which means the problems we solve are the ones that actually show up in a lending office:
The product is used by lenders across Africa and beyond, supports multiple currencies, and is designed to work for any lending business regardless of where it operates.
