Loan Management Software Pricing in Uganda

Billing is in US dollars by card. The Ugandan shilling amounts below are converted at an indicative rate so a SACCO board can see the plans in the currency its budget is written in. If you lend in Uganda, compare Lendbox with other loan software for lenders before you choose.

Plans and billing in Uganda

What does Lendbox cost a Ugandan SACCO each month?

Basic is $29 a month, roughly UGX 120,000 at the indicative rate, or $25 a month when the board pays for a year up front. Business ($99 a month) covers two branches and three staff, Growth ($149) three branches and six staff, and Enterprise is priced per staff member and per branch. Payment is by card in US dollars, so the shilling figures on this page move with the rate while the dollar price does not.

Does the price change as our SACCO's membership grows?

No. The plan is set by branches and staff logins, not by members, loans or repayments, so a SACCO that doubles its membership on one branch stays on the same plan at the same price. The plan changes only when you open a branch or give more officers their own login, and the arrears figures UMRA asks a licensed lender to keep come out of the same reports on every plan.

Where do I compare the Ugandan plans with the dollar price list?

On the Lendbox pricing page, which shows every plan in US dollars, the currency your card is charged in. This page shows the same plans converted to shillings for a board that budgets in UGX; nothing differs between the two except the currency on the label, and both open the same 30-day trial with no card.

Billing questions from lenders in Uganda

Is Lendbox billed in Ugandan shillings?

No. Lendbox charges the subscription in US dollars and issues the receipt in dollars. The shilling column is an estimate from a refreshed rate; the figure your bank converts on the day is the one that appears on your statement.

Can I pay the subscription by mobile money in Uganda?

Not yet. MTN MoMo and Airtel Money are not accepted for the subscription, which is paid by Visa or Mastercard with international online payments enabled. Zambia is the one market where the subscription itself can be paid by mobile money.

Is a card needed to begin the 30-day trial in Uganda?

No. The trial starts with no payment details on file. Load your members and loans, run the book in shillings, and only add a card when the SACCO decides to continue.

Is there a free plan in Uganda?

There is not. The free plan is reserved for Zambian lenders. A Ugandan SACCO or MFI that finishes the trial goes onto Basic for a single branch, or Business and Growth as branches are added.

Can a SACCO pay annually instead of every month?

Yes. Switch the grid to annual billing to see the yearly amount. One card payment then covers twelve months, which suits a board that approves the software budget once a year.
